- These are better than the Shure mics we had before.These are better than the Shure mics we had before. In fact these are the best mics we have had so far. The best feature is the sound quality. We use these for preaching. The hand held mics are out of this world. The quality of sound with them is amazing. The lapel mics sound great if you position yourself in just the right way, but if you move around the sound quality changes. I am still looking for a lapel mic with the feature of consistent volume even when you move around, but these lapel mics are the best we have had so far.
