The Audio-Technica AT875R shotgun microphone is engineered for video production and broadcast (ENG/EFP) audio acquisition.

Audio-Technica’s shortest shotgun microphone is only 7" in length. It is easily mounted on a DV camcorder and adds very little extra weight. This high-performance microphone rejects audo coming from the rear and sides, while delivering natural-sounding audio from the front.
