Modern Curved Oak Wood Pulpit

We surprised our pastor with this and he loves it! He wanted a more modern podium that would match the wood in our sanctuary. The color is perfect, and the pulpit is serving us well! From a wood worker's perspective, it could have been designed a little better and the instructions could have been more complete, but my experience helped me to know how to assemble it. We have skilled woodworkers at our church who made some modifications to the podium. We made the top a little smaller, so that it is more stable when leaned on. We added a shelf to hold a water bottle, and that provided a way to add a cross on the front. My suggestion for an upgrade would be to incorporate a mic (like those on conference tables) in such a way that it is hidden from view. Everyone at our church loves this pulpit!

This pulpit matches the oak in our sanctuary and fits our decor beautifully! We modified it to fit our needs. We lowered it to increase visual appeal for video. We made the slope of the shelf flatter according to our personal preference. We also added a small middle shelf that we use for water or coffee. I am glad we purchased this, and I recommend it to others.
