We didn’t know what to expect but after opening the package we were thrilled to see how easy it was to assemble! It’s sturdy and the perfect size for the platform in our facility. This pulpit fits us perfectly. We have a large platform area with wonderful high ceilings, and this pulpit looks really good there. I like that it is bigger and more functional then other pulpits we have had. This pulpit gives me plenty of room to have my Bible and my notes together. I have gotten many compliments from people telling me they really like how the pulpit looks. It is very sturdy on our level area. We did not personalize, because we have a beautiful painting of a dove behind the pulpit on the baptismal that we want clearly seen. If you do not have something behind the pulpit that you want to see, then I definitely think it would be important to personalize with a cross or dove or something. The one thing I would do to improve this product would be to have it shipped already assembled and to have it assembled without bolts. This pulpit is great for a big area, and I would definitely buy this again.
